Maitland Greyhound Racing Club

Maitland Greyhound Racing Club is located along Blomfield Street, Maitland, New South Wales. It is about 162 kilometers from Sydney.

Children under 16 years old are admitted to the track for free, while adults are charged #6.60.

The Maitland track provides the Hunter Valley with a loam racing surface that has a cable lure system installed. Race distances: 400m, 450m, 565m.

There are camping facilities for travelling trainers, but there are no kennels available for the greyhounds. Full catering and bar facilities are available for the enjoyment of patrons. The track is located in Blomfield Street Maitland at the Showgrounds.

Kennels open 90 minutes prior to the first race and close 45 minutes prior to the first race. The kennels are of the one tier variety and a veterinary service is available at all race meetings.

Trials are conducted every Monday at 10am; Thursday after the last race (when racing); Friday from 7.30am - 10.00am; and Saturday 7.30 am.
