Tamworth Greyhound Racing Track

Tamworth Greyhound Racing Track is located along Gunnedah Road, Tamworth, New South Wales. It is about 389 kilometers from Sydney.

Adults and pensioners are admitted to the track for $6.60 and $4.40 respectively while children under 16 years old are admitted for free.

Tamworth GRC conducts greyhound races at Tamworth Greyhound Racing Track's U-shaped grass track that has a banked turn. An electric lure system is in operation. Canteen and bar facilities are available for the enjoyment of patrons. An on-course bookmaker operates on Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane horse races as well as the local meeting.

Nominations close Tuesday 12 noon.

Kennelling time for day meetings is between Noon - 12.45pm. Meanwhile kennelling time for night meetings is between 6pm - 6.45pm.

The kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are of the one tier variety. There is a veterinary service on call for all race meetings.

Trials are held every Tuesday (5.30pm) and Sunday (9.00am).
