Tweed Heads Coursing Club

Tweed Heads Coursing Club is located along Binya Avenue, Kirra, New South Wales. It is about 832 kilometers from Sydney.

Adults and pensioners are admitted to the track for $7.00 and $4.00 respectively while children under 16 years old are admitted for free.

Tweed Heads Coursing Club races at the Border Park complex. It is home to country greyhound racing's richest event the named "Galaxy", ran annually over the June long weekend.

On-course facilities include three bookmakers who bet on Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide gallops as well as provincial race meetings and nearly 80 on-course totalisator monitors display bookmaker and TAB odds for the serious punter.

A snack bar and bar are open on race days and first amenities are available on-course. A function room is available for hire, ring the secretary for details.

The Border Park complex is a short walk from Kirra Beach and caravan and camping accommodation is available to travelling owners and trainers. Racing is conducted on a slightly banked Kikuyu grass surface with an electric lure system in operation.

Kennelling time is between Noon - 12.45pm. The kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are of the one tier variety. There is a veterinary service on track for all race meetings.

Trials are conducted every Tuesday, 7.30am and 9.30am.
