Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Track

Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Track is located along Wentworth Park Road, Glebe, New South Wales. It is about 2 kilometers from Sydney.

Adults are admitted to the track for $5.50 while children under 16 years old are admitted for free.

Wentworth Park is the showpiece of greyhound racing in NSW with first class amenities including a two level grandstand, ensuring that every patron has an uninterrupted view of the entire track from any seat within the stand.

Metropolitan racing occurs every Friday and Saturday throughout the entire year. Excellent facilities are available for patrons including a restaurant, bars, kiosks, function rooms, and indoor betting pavilion. The track has a loam surface and a cable lure system is in operation.

Nominations for both the Friday and Saturday meetings at Wentworth Park will be closing at 12.00 noon on the Tuesday prior. Trainers are advised that even though both meetings close at the same time, the Saturday meeting will be drawn prior to the Friday meeting. Trainers are able to nominate for Saturday and "roll over" to Friday, that is, if greyhounds do not gain a start on Saturday, they can be considered for Friday.

Kennelling time is betwwen 5.15 pm to 6.00 pm for Friday races and 6.15 to 7.00 pm for Saturday Races. The kennel block is air-conditioned, the kennels are of a single tier configuration. There is a veterinary service available at all meetings.
