Wagga Racecourse
Wagga Racecourse is located at the corner of Travers and Moorong Streets, Wagga, New South Wales. The racecourse is approximately 4.5 hours from both Sydney and Melbourne.
The Murrumbidgee Turf Club. commenced racing in 1849. In 1993 the course was rebuilt including a new Grandstand.
Murrumbidgee Turf Club Limited hosts 24 meetings annually including The Wagga Gold Cup which runs on the first Friday of May each year, The Town Plate which is run the day before The Wagga Gold Cup, Caulfield and Melbourne Cup Days, Christmas Eve and Easter Saturday.
